A National Network of Support
5EBI is part of a National Network of community broadcast radio stations and the associations that support them. Collectively, we strive to keep grass roots community radio strong and relevant to our listeners Australia-wide.

Each year the CBF receives funding from the Australian Government’s Community Broadcasting Program to redistribute in grants to community media organisations, content producers and sector organisations, including 5EBI.
This funding supports 5EBI to enrich people’s lives by supporting a diversity of choice in radio media here in South Australia. This helps 5EBI to produce local stories, news and cultural content reflecting the many perspectives, people and communities that make up South Australia; to ensure community broadcasting is at the heart of our local community by connecting people, including more than five million Australians who tune in to their local radio station weekly.
Government of South Australia
... over 5EBI's five decades on air, the Government of South Australia has supported our station in many ways, including Grants to perform building and broadcasting equipment upgrades, but also using 5EBI as an integral media pathway to promote their Departments' services, programmes and projects direct to the 40+ Ethnic Groups that call South Australia home ... translated into their language.
Many Government and Shadow Ministers over the years have actively interacted with 5EBI's events, fundraisers and performed on-air interviews to inform the South Australian community of happenings in their districts.
We thank them all for their passion to work with 5EBI and our individual Broadcast Groups.
